Kunming - Dali - Lijiang - Kunming

Day 01  KUNMING arrival (1894 meters): Meet at airport and transfer to hotel. Dinner at local restaurants. Overnight at Harbour Plaza ***** or Kunming Hotel ****.

Day 02  LIJIANG-KUNMING: Fly to Kunming in the morning, 40 minutes. Excursion to Stone Forest with visit of a village on the way. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Overnight at Harbour Plaza ***** or Kunming Hotel **** .  

Day 03  KUNMING/DALI (2100 meters): Fly to Dali in the morning, 30 minutes. Visit Three Pagodas, take cable car to Cangshan Mountains by chair lift, walk 2-3 hours on the Jade Belt Road on the mountain. Free time in the old town Dali.  Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Overnight at Asia Star Hotel ****.

Day 05  DALI: In the morning cruise on Erhai Lake to the eastern bank of the lake, then drive bicycle around the Erhai Lake to Dali, 50 kilometers. Visit Wase, and Shuanglang villages of Bai minority on the way. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Overnight at Asia Star Hotel ****

Day 05  DALI-LIJIANG (2500 meters): Drive to Lijiang, 180 kilometers, or 3 hours. Visit Black Dragon Pond Park with Dongba Museum and old town. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Overnight at Sightseeing Hotel **** or Grand Lijiang Hotel ***.

Day 06  LIJIANG: Drive bicycle to Ganhaizi (or the Dry Sea) to visit the Jade Dragon Snow Mountains, Dr. Joseph Rock’s House, Yushui village of Naxi minority and Baisha Frescos. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Overnight at Sightseeing Hotel **** or Grand Lijiang Hotel ***.

Day 07  LIJIANG: Excursion to the first bend of Yangtze River, Shigu Village, Tiger Leaping Gorge. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Overnight at Sightseeing Hotel **** or Grand Lijiang Hotel *** .  

Day 08  LIJIANG - KUNMING: Fly to Kunming in the morning, 40 minutes. Visit Western Hills with Dragon Gate and Huating Temple, East Pagoda and West Pagoda, and Golden Horse and Green Peacock Archway. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Overnight at Harbour Plaza ***** or Kunming Hotel ****.

Day 09 KUNMING Departure: Morning free. After lunch transfer to airport for departure flight.
