Chitwan National park

The oldest and most interesting National park is situated in the south, near the Indian border.

The National park is the home of the Royal Bengal tiger.	There are several lodges of different standard inside and outside the park.
On elephants back you have a good view and may approach the wildlife comfortably and safe.	On a jeep drive you can explore the park in a big radius.
On a boat trip you have a spectacular view to crocodiles and water birds.	The one horned Indian rhino is one of the main attractions of the park.
Some of the more than 600 species of birds may be observed at the early morning bird watching walk.	Wild war dances of the Tharu tribe will excite you on days end.
